Xmas Annual Show

A huge well done to all gymnasts who took part in the clubs xmas show 2011, and a big congratulations to those gymnasts who won awards. They are all a credit to the club, and their effort and enthusiasm made the event a fantastic success!

Also a BIG thankyou to all coaches, helpers and volunteers alike who were there on the day to run the event! They give up their own time and effort to support the club, and the successes and achievements would not be possible without them, so thankyou!

Finally, a thankyou to all parents, grandparents, family, spectators etc who came along to watch the show and support the club. We sold over 250 tickets for the show (the biggest audience the club has EVER had at an xmas show). Their time, patience, and company during the day was greatly appreciated and one of the reasons why all the gymnasts worked so incredibly hard on making the routines, skills and performances so fantastic.

Annual British Gymnastics Insurance Due

The Annual British Gymnastics Insurance is now due. £15 for recreational gymnasts and £40 for all main squad/competitive gymnasts. Cheques (child’s name written on the back) made paybale to ‘LAGC’ or by cash in an envelope with your childs name clearly written on the front. The deadline for payment is Saturday 25th September, any members who have not paid their insurance by this date will NOT be allowed to train until the amount is settled.’

National Championships 2010

Congratulations to all Loughborough Gymnasts that competed in the National Championships at the weekend. With the biggest squad the club has ever taken, we had a long weekend ahead of us, 8 floor categories and 1 tumbling on the Saturday and 3 floor and 2 tumbling on the Sunday.

Great performances from everyone produced the clubs best ever results with 2 Golds (grade 4 mens group and grade 4 mixed pairs), 1 Silver (Grade 3 mens pair) and 3 bronzes (grade 3 womens pair, mixed pair and women’s group) on the floor.

Well done to all the gymnasts and their coaches, you have all worked hard and deserved the results you acheived.
