Qualifying for Grade one women’s group was Charlotte Sharpe, Rheanna Spence and Imogen Cooke.

CONGRATULATIONS to all our gymnasts and coaches that partcipated in the regional competition yesterday (3rd Feb). For many of our gymansts it was their first competition or first outing in their new partnerships.

A big well done to our GOLD medallists – Rheanna Spence; Tre Thomas x 2; Sophie O Flynn; Kimberly Zarbeski; Rachel Meakin; Lucy Errington; Jadene Gartshore; Ruth Stanton and Georgina Bassford – Our SILVER medallists – Millie Brown; Charlotte Sharpe and Amber Moher.

A BIG thank you to the coaches that worked hard with the gymnasts and then gave up their Sunday, Sally and Fiona and the coaches that judged on behalf of the club, Kathryn, Emma and Claire.

Thank you to all the family members that came and supported the club.

Next competition – Regional Prelims, Sunday 9th March – ensure that if you are selected for this competition that you leave the whole day free.

A Big WELL DONE to all of our gymnasts that competed at the British NDP finals at the weekend in stoke. This was only our second national finals and our gymnasts managed to come home with two bronze medals and a gold!

Congratulations to Tad and Lee who achieved the bronze medal in the men’s Grade 2 pairs category and to Tad, Sam, Lee and William who also recieved a bronze in the grade 2 men’s group.

Tad Skubala made it a hatrick and also made club history by achieving his third medal of the championships and of the gold variety making him British national level 1 men’s tumbling champion! Well Done.

Everybody performed really well and finished in good positions in their group, so well done also to Gemma, Natasha, Chloe, Will.R, Jack, Millie and Samantha, you were all a credit to the club.

Also a BIG thank-you to all of the coaches that attended all weekend and those few members that came and supported our gymnasts, we hope to see more of you next year!
