Beginners Dance Class:

 

If you love dance and acrobatic skills, then this class will be perfect for you. Combining classical dance technique such as ballet and Jazz with the precision of acrobatics elements, this is a unique dance style that offers a different and exciting challenge to dance Choreography.

 

What level is this class?

This is a beginners class for 4 –9 year-old girls and boys 

 

Our dance teacher

At the Base we are very lucky to have a very experienced dancer and teacher to deliver our classes. Ellie Hammond started her dance journey at the age of 6, and has been dancing ever since. She has managed to achieve qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Acro dance with full marks and distinctions, one of the few in her dance school to achieve this level of acro dance and has completed her Btech level 3  dance course at dance college. However, it is also her high-level gymnastics background that gives our dancers a better chance of developing their acro elements. As a former National level acrobatic gymnast and level 2 coach, Ellie will be able to help our dancers learn acro skills safely and with good technique.
