the charity

Loughborough Acrobatics Gymnastics Club (LAGC) was formed in 2004 by head coach Kathryn Ford (Lacey) as a not-for-profit community gymnastics club. The clubs main goal has always to provide young people and adults with the opportunity to develop confidence, knowledge and physical and mental health through the amazing sport of gymnastics.

Towards the end of 2014 the club took a challenging step to take on and develop its own community facility, naming it 'The Base' and gained Charitable status early 2015, starting the clubs next chapter within the community it had served for the past 10 years.

The centre has developed into one of the leading facilities in Charnwood and now hosts a number of community sports clubs as well as a varied programme of activities for young people and adults in the community.
