In December 2014 LAGC moved into its very own gymnastics facility based on Weldon Road Industrial Estate. Thanks to the grant funding of £50,000, £10,000 raised through club fundraising and £20,000 private loan the club was able to kit the centre out with all the latest performance equipment for Acorbatics, Tumbling and Women’s Artistic.

In February 2017 the club expanding into the unit next door doubling its space. Thanks to the support and donations made from Aviva Community fund, Leicestershire and Rutland Sport, Boots, Aegir Engineering and club members fundraising efforts a further £32,000 was raised towards the expansion project.

To date the centre includes FIG approved 12m by 12m sprung floor, another 12.8-12.8 semi sprung floor, 25m tumble track with 5m landing zone, 12m fast track, Asymmetric Bars, Mens High bar, Beams and vault. As well as spotting rigs over the floor, 15m inflatable air track as well as lots of soft play and hand apparatus.

 

We have an upstairs area that is multi-functional and can be used as a classroom, party or fitness space. Please note there is no lift access to this space.

 

We have 7 toilets and changing space including a disabled toilet and baby changing area.

 

We also have tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave.
